Meet Katie

I'm a professional jockey competing on the prestigious New York Racing Association (NYRA) circuit, riding at tracks like Belmont, Aqueduct, and Saratoga. I was raised in a horse racing family and now race against my husband and siblings.

But my story isn’t just about horses — it’s about family, grit, motherhood, and breaking barriers in a male-dominated sport.

I come from horse racing’s Davis family:

husband, Trevor McCarthy, is a fellow jockey and fierce competitor.
father, Robbie Davis, is a former jockey turned trainer (my personal consultant)
brother, Dylan Davis, is a top jockey.
sister, Jackie Davis, also rides professionally.
brother, Eddie Davis, trains racehorses.

They’ve all shaped the competitor I am today and provide a little sibling rivalry.
